近日，梅园社区党支部组织社区党员和退役老兵，开展了一次“迎八一话传统”主题活动,共同迎接“八一”建军节的到来。
会上，大家怀着对党的无比热爱和对革命先辈无比崇敬的心情,观看了革命故事片《英雄儿女》，共同歌唱了《三大纪律、八项注意》。在战火的影视中，在嘹亮的歌声中再次接受教育。社区党支部书记结合梅园社区实际，对与会同志提出了三点要求：一是学习中国革命史，自觉按照创建全国卫生城市的要求，提高卫生意识。二是学习中国革命史，规范创新、团结和谐、廉洁奉公，做好表率，促使社区工作再上新台阶。三是学习中国革命史，发扬先辈为了人类的解放，抛头颅洒热血、不计个人得失的革命精神，加强学习，提高素质。四是学习中国革命史，要珍惜维护好当前我区良好的工作局面，团结各民主党派，努力营造风正气顺、和谐统一的新风尚，为开创社区各项工作新局面作出贡献。
大家畅所欲言，老兵们一起回忆了在部队的难忘岁月，重新激发了不服输、不怕苦、敢打敢拼的革命精神。同时，大伙们还纷纷表示，要立足工作岗位，以学习实践科学发展观活动为契机，继续发扬服从命令、听从指挥、顾全大局、搞好团结的光荣传统，进一步解放思想，努力工作，为黄岩的经济腾飞、社会稳定再立新功。

八月一日，这是一个不同寻常的日子，它改变了我国的历史，改变了我们中国人以后的路，可以这么说，如果没有这一天，中华人民还是生活在水深火热的旧社会，它就是八一建军节。
xx年前的今天，1927年8月1日凌晨2时，*、朱德、贺龙、叶挺、刘伯承等指挥各路起义军向驻守南昌的国民党军队发动进攻，经过四个多小时的激战，占领了南昌城。这次南昌起义，取得了胜利。南昌起义宣告了中国*独立领导武装斗争和创建人民军队的开始。1949年6月15日，中国人民革命军事委员会发布命令，规定以“八一”两字作为中国人民解放军军旗和军徽的主要标志。中华人民共和国成立后，将此纪念日改称为中国人民解放军建军节。
在和平建设时期，上至雪域高原的铁路，下至城市中的地铁，中国军队的战斗力，也同样扬名在整个民族经济发展的战场上。解放军战士是人民群众最值得信赖和依靠的人，尤其是在国家和人民最需要的时候，解放军战士冲锋在前，在抢险救灾中再现军人的风采!1998年夏抗洪当中，展现了解放军战士为了保护国家的财产和人民的利益少受损失和不受损失，与洪水搏斗的英雄壮举!2008年2月当滞留的旅客需要返回家乡与亲人团聚的时候，当道路被积雪盖住了，阻挡了人们的出行，解放军战士奋勇破冰打开通道。2008年5月在汶川大地震中在第一线救人的还是解放军战士，他们冒着楼房随时可能坍塌的危险救出了一个又一个伤者。
我们这一代是幸福的，没有战争，没有硝烟，正因为如此，我们才跟应该努力学习，长大后报效祖国，做国家的栋梁之才!把我们国家建设的更美好，才对得起战士们用鲜血染红的国旗，用身躯建造的新中国!我长大后的愿望就是当一名解放军战士，手握钢枪站在祖国的边防线上，为我们伟大的祖国贡献自己的力量。
今年八月一日是中国人民解放军建军XX周年，在庆祝“八一”建军节的到来之际，何坊南社区结合实际与“创“先争优”活动紧密结合，拓宽主题思路，多角度、多形式开展活动，现将社区在八一期间开展的活动总结如下。
7月22日，社区邀请了江西预备役师陈教官来社区和青少年举行了庆八一国防知识大家谈为主题的国防教育讲座，社区通过对辖区青少年的国防教育，强化了他们国防观念，同时激发了他们的爱国热情。
7月31日社区举办了庆祝“八一”建军节座谈会。座谈会上，社区主任首先向老战士们致以了节日的祝贺和亲切的慰问!并向他们汇报了上半年的社区工作，同时，询问了老战士们的生活和身体状况，希望大家在保重身体、安度晚年的同时，积极发挥余热，保持和发扬革命本色，主动参与一些力所能及的社区建设活动。到会的优抚对象畅所欲言，气氛热烈，对社区的工作表示满意，并感谢社区对优抚对象的关心。
8月1日社区组织辖区志愿者看望辖区革命伤残军人详细询问了张洪、闫友根等同志的生活情况，并为伤残军人打扫卫生活动。
通过庆祝“八一”建军节开展拥军优属，拥政爱民活动，为构建和谐社区做出了积极贡献。
